One Million Moms, who tout themselves as conservative “Christian” mothers, are unsurprisingly not being Christ-like in their brigade against Uber Eats.
Uber Eats recently published an ad featuring the world’s greatest gymnast and the world’s greatest late in life gymnast, Simone Biles and Jonathan Van Ness. In the ad, JVN wears a (non-revealing) leotard that matches Biles.
“Casting a cross-dresser in its ads screams liberal agenda and turns off potential Uber Eats customers,” One Million Moms stated. “Instead of making audiences lose their appetite by glamorizing a LGBTQ lifestyle, Uber Eats should focus on what it does and remain neutral on controversial issues.”
Not sure how featuring two pop culture icons in a light humor ad is controversial but, OK?
We all know Simone Biles is an unreal athlete. But it may come as a surprise to some that JVN is a damn good athlete as well. In their late 20’s, JVN decided to pursue a lifelong childhood athletic dreams and enrolled in ice skating and gymnastics lessons. Two sports that as a young boy, they did not have access to.
And for a grown ass human, they are doing incredible! Improving skill set and continually practicing to get better.
How is that anything but inspiring?
